Techarena UK 2025

Welcome to 2025 Tech Arena UK! This is your chance to demonstrate your technical depth in systems programming, optimisation, and architecture design, work alongside Huawei engineers, and compete for exclusive prizes and internship opportunities. If you're studying in Europe or the United Kingdom, now is the time to step up and make a difference in one of the most critical layers of AI computing.

The top teams will receive cash prizes:

  • 🥇 Winner - £6000
  • 🥈 Runner-up - £4000
  • 🥉 Third place - £2000

Eligibility

Teams participating in this competition can have up to 3 members. Each team member must:

  • Be enrolled at a recognised higher education institution in the UK or EU
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity
  • Not be an employee of Huawei or its suppliers (including Algotester, the supplier managing the competition) or a family member of such an employee

How to compete

  1. Each participant must create an account by filling out the registration form.
  2. Sign in using your email address and password.
  3. Open the menu on the left and go to My teams.
  4. Create a new team or join the existing one.
  5. The team captain must send the join link to other team members.
  6. All participants must join the team using the provided link.
  7. Once all members have joined, the team captain has to follow this link to register the team for Techarena UK 2025 challenge.
  8. When the competition starts read the problem description.
  9. When ready submit your source code file or paste it into the embedded editor.
  10. All your team attempts will be available on your contest submissions page.
  11. For announcements and Q&A go to the contest clarification page or use the contact form.

Ranking

  1. The provisional competitor standings will be available to the public on the contest standings page.
  2. Read the problem description "Scoring" section for details on your submission evaluation.
  3. Your overall result is the maximum score of all your submissions and your penalty is the time elapsed since the contest start until you have recently improved your score.
  4. All competitors are sorted by the overall score (from larger to smaller) and then by the penalty time (from smaller to larger).
  5. When the contest is over the final testing will be triggered.
